Done with oil sticks on 18x24 drawing paper.

I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't heard of oil sticks, but essentially they are just oil paints solidified into a stick form.

Contour Study

Both were done in conte crayon on 18x24 drawing paper.

I first used the orange to map out the shapes and planes, and then later went over with the black contour lines.
